We were able to take some family pictures again this summer while in MN - thanks to my sister-in-law Erica! Blake did fantastic and was SUPER cooperative which was a blessing. Kade, on the other hand, wasn't so excited to sit still for some good pictures. Hence the very few pics we have of him truly smiling. Candy did help bring out the smiles!
God has given me the perfect husband and the perfect kids for me. I wouldn't trade any of them for the world!

AHH! I love these all! I think they are all great! I wouldn't have guessed that Kade wasn't wanted to cooperate. And oh my goodness! I never realized how much Blake and Kade look alike till seeing these! They really look like brothers! Great pics!
ReplyDeleteOh Jenn!!! They turned out GREAT!! What a fun thing to have a photographer in the family!! Erica does such a good job as well!!! Love the location of pictures! (but they are in my neck of the woods! :) Love the individual pictures of the boys!! That doesn't always happen! Love them all and I agree with Kristin... Kade looks like he is cooperating in all the pictures I saw! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!!! :) We were happy with how they turned out and were shocked we got as many good ones as we did considering we wanted to pull our hair out. Kade was truly having troubles being content in our laps and then we were doing pictures where we were swinging him by the arms and dislocated his elbow - only we didn't know that something was wrong right away and thought it was attitude. We thought we hurt his wrist and he was crying and wouldn't even move his entire arm for the whole night. He woke up screaming at midnight and then we started reading and realized we probably dislocated it. Matt found a way to pop it back into place and then he was fine. We felt SO SO awful but were thankful it was an easy fix and he had immediate relief. Moral of the story: DO NOT SWING YOUR KIDS! :)
DeleteOh my gosh Jenn, I just looked at this and I don't usually read the comments but decided to... When I was working on base before I had our daughter, this little girl was holding my hand and tripped and dislocated her elbow...! Same thing I thought she was just acting up because she didn't want to go inside but after an hour of her crying to no avail unless I was holding her, we figured out her arm was bothering her. Went to the ER and they popped it back in. Those injuries are the worst when they can't tell you what's wrong!
DeleteOh no! How sad! Poor Kade's arm! That's the worse when you give no sympathy when sympathy is due! Glad Matt was able to fix it with no ER visit!
